Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Life SMP collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our store and Minecraft server (the "Service").

1. What we collect

• Account and purchase data: the email address you use at checkout, your in-game username, and the rank and payment method you used. We do not see or store your full card number - payments are handled by our payment processor.
• Reviews: the in-game name, rating, and review text you submit. These are stored so they can be shown on the store once approved.
• Server data: your Minecraft username, UUID, IP address (for moderation, anti-cheat and rate limiting), and in-game activity logs.
• Technical data: basic browser/device information and cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

2. How we use it

• To process purchases, deliver and apply your rank, and provide support.
• To display approved reviews on the store.
• To run moderation, anti-cheat, and to enforce our rules.
• To send you transactional emails (for example a purchase confirmation). We do not send marketing email without your opt-in.

3. Payment processors

Payments are processed by third-party providers (such as Stripe and cryptocurrency processors). These providers may collect and process your payment data under their own terms. We only receive confirmation of a successful payment and, where relevant, a transaction reference - never your full card details.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where GDPR applies, we process your data on the bases of: performance of a contract (to deliver your purchase), our legitimate interests (moderation, security and fraud prevention), and your consent where you opt in (for example, marketing or cookies that require it).

5. How long we keep data

We keep purchase and account data for as long as your account or subscription is active, and afterwards only as needed to meet legal, tax, or dispute obligations. Server and moderation logs are kept for a reasonable period and then deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to object to processing or port your data. To exercise these rights, contact us in Discord. We may ask for information to verify your identity.

7. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with processors that help us run the Service (payment, hosting, moderation tools) under appropriate agreements, or where required by law.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Reviews are stored in a database with row-level security so that only approved, validated submissions are publicly readable, and unapproved reviews cannot be modified by visitors. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, however.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
